Rick was the love of my life and I am so thankful to everything he brought into life. Rick always made me feel loved and special. He never complained, made life exciting, and always had a mischievious twinkle in his eyes. We traveled together, enjoyed the outdoors, and were advid scuba divers. Love always, Linda

As a Freshman, Rick was new to the football team and came to practice a couple of weeks into training.
To see what he could do, Coach had the two of us stay after practice one day and we went 1:1 for 10-15 minutes. Rick was fast and hit hard. I remember thinking that he would clearly make our team stronger.
I'm not sure why he left the team but was disappointing when he stopped coming to practice. - At that age, and each of us in our own world and trying to find our way, I didn't see much of him after that.
