Rodney lived a block away from me. He was another Cloverly student. We used to play 4 square, etc during recess. I lost contact with him in junior high. He was very ill and passed away, I believe, during junior high- so sad!
Rodney and I were the best of friends from kindergarten until the time he passed in the seventh grade. Through the beginning of fifth grade we would meet after school (first at La Rosa and then at Clovery) and participate in the after school activities. Sadly, he became ill towards the end of fifth grade. He came down with leukemia. He missed most of sixth grade because he was hospitalized. He started at Oak Avenue in the seventh grade. However, after a couple of weeks he became very ill and passed away. He was a great friend.
